Horses are often seen as a symbol of freedom, with their elegance and strength, pride and friendship. The fact of seeing 12 horses has no meaning at all. The hope is that these Lippizaner horses, which made that Spanish Riding School of Vienna so famous, will always also be considered Slovenian, since that is, after all, where they originated. So, why call them Austrian?
