Vredesburo Eindhoven

The first idea was: To make a real and virtual journey around the world through different projects. The aim is to stimulate global consciousness. The projects involved contain: Music, Poetry, Art, Food and Internet.

Organizer and initiator Martin Voorbij works for the Eindhoven Peace Office as co-operator of international projects. With this construction in became mandatory for the program to reflects it's findings to the city of Eindhoven. The financing of the program will take place through project subsidies and income generated through the projects. The program is set up on such way that it might be the start of economical independence of the initiator.

In 2002 investments have take place, necessary to start up such a program. An amount of 20.000 euro in the first year and a half, mainly a donation of the initiator. For example a truck is bought and prepared.
