Story SHOW HOPE : With this photomontage I want to show the joy of children playing. Not disturbed by megalomania, speed, mass-culture and upcoming adult problems. They just continue to play.
The picture with the playing child is a photo from the fifties. Black and white. Timeless.
The city is the future, some say, but to me is like a big shopping mall. That's why all the buildings are build up out of machines that function when money is inserted. Like a cigarette machine or a fast-food dispenser.
The string of symbols and colors depict the calculating, the systematic or the human cycle. The DNA of hope, as you wish. Meanwhile children just keep on playing.
