Story SHOW HOPE : Transitoriness is not only indicating the end but also indicating a part of a cycles.
The word vanitas is Latin and means vanity and vain. A vanity painting is used by the artist to send the message that pleasure only lasts an instant. Because time is limited, one should enjoy the current moment as much as possible.
In case a cycles is more important then finding the finish line, it becomes finding hope in daily life. But whatever story is told, it is about painting. With a brush and with paint, and with a panel and an idea.
