Special presentations are presentations where often the paintings are not the center of the subject and stories are told in another context; verbal presentations and video projections or... anything is possible

At Symposium and Art Colony in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt

For 7 days Show Your Hope was present at the Art Colony and Symposium in Egypt. Not having the ability to bring paintings by airplane the apperance was mainly focussed on presenting the idea and getting connected with other worlds.
We met participating artists of the mobile exhibition from Macedonia, Kosovo, Netherlands and had great connections with Napoli (through Tacheles, Berlin), Tbilisi, Cairo, UK, Izmir and Istanbul.

At the Dutch Design Week

For 9 days during the Dutch Design Weeks there were 'Design Rides'. Almost 20 taxi's drove around town and transported many of the thousends of visitors that visit over 300 exhibitions taking place around town.
We have created a Drag Car variant of our yellow truck in order to trigger a slight different perception. Meanwhile our best sidekick and driver Guus Veldhuis took the audience in the taxi, into the world of Show Your Hope. Visitors of the taxi stepped into a storytelling theater.

At conferences
May 2010

At specefic conferences we can connect with many paintings due to the subject of the paintings. Hope always relates to specific subjects of large international conferences. In this case the Global Hague Conference on Child Labour, at the World Forum in The Hague, ehre minister Donner hands over a painting of Bruno Filho to the Brasilian minister of social affairs, Ms Carvallho.

In cooperation with Peter de Ruiter
